(Tickets available through the section entitled ‘Website’ below which will take you to the Eventbrite page!)
On the 8th of March 2021, International Women’s Day is celebrated across the globe: a day dedicated to honouring the achievements of women throughout history and for women from all different backgrounds and cultures to band together to fight for gender parity and women’s rights. This year, International Women’s Day will be celebrated with the special 2021 theme, #ChooseToChallenge. So we have decided to put together this virtual event to not only answer some major questions regarding the future of feminism as a source of female empowerment but also to commemorate the fantastic achievements of some women that can inspire us all.
Make sure you take part, listen and share your views with our amazing panel, both to hear about their own stories of empowering other women and to discuss the big questions surrounding the future of feminism in our modern society. Should we still call ourselves feminists? Does feminism need to become more intersectional? How can we move beyond these debates to collectively empower women? Come to share your opinions, stories and, most importantly, to learn about various points of view, even those different to your own.
