Marisa Davies is a determined, enthusiastic Political Editor currently undertaking her MA in International Journalism at City University of London. Marisa’s areas of expertise include: reporting, researching, editing, news reading, alongside 5 years of professional camera training/experience. Including her Master’s degree, Marisa also studied Journalism and Mass Media Communications at De Montfort University in Leicester where she started news reading for Demon FM. Marisa is extremely passionate and vehement about current and global affairs having assisted with BBC’s The Big Question to expand her knowledge on global and societal issues. Aside from Journalism, Marisa has previously teamed up with CAN Charity, a charity to benefit African children in need of basic supplies and education – her diligence, astuteness and willing need to help others is portrayed through her actions daily.
